Weekend breakfasts simply got a lot easier with these Banana Oatmeal Blender Pancakes! just throw all of the elements into your blender and then cook on a skillet for scrumptious and healthful pancakes that flavor similar to banana bread!

I had each intention of posting this recipe next Tuesday on the grounds that it'd certainly be Pancake Tuesday, but I felt awful keeping it from you for any other week. I posted a teaser on Instagram and at once you men began asking for the recipe so I conceded and posted it for you.

No longer relatively, Pancake Tuesday makes me straight away think about our journey to New Orleans remaining 12 months. Mardi Gras and Pancake Tuesday traditionally coincide because the ultimate day of festivities and “gorging” before Lent begins. Of course, I don’t practice Lent, but i'm able to take any possibility to stuff my face with pancakes.

BANANA OATMEAL BLENDER PANCAKES

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 1/2 cups oatmeal
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 large ripe bananas
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or other milk) – more for thinning out
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • pinch of sea salt
  • coconut oil, for cooking
  • optional add-ins: chocolate chips, mixed berries, nuts
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Upload all elements (besides coconut oil and add-ins) to a blender and mix till smooth.
  2. If using upload-ins, stir in now. mixture can also have thickened in blender so stir in greater milk 1 tablespoon at a time to thin out, if wished.
  3. Upload coconut oil to a pan or skillet over medium warmth.
  4. Pour in approximately a 1/3 a cup of batter in keeping with pancake and cook dinner till all bubbles have popped (approximately 2-three mins)
  5. Turn over and prepare dinner for one extra minute.
  6. Repeat until all pancakes had been cooked.
  7. Pinnacle with extra banana, maple syrup, nuts or desired toppings and serve right away.
