Chocolate Crinkle Candy Cane Kiss Cookies

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar
  • 1 cup miniature chocolate chips
  • 24 Candy Cane Hershey Kisses


DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 350ยบF. Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. Cream together the butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in the eggs.
  3. Add the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Mix just until soft dough forms. Fold in chocolate chips.
  4. Scoop by rounded tablespoons and roll each ball in the powdered sugar, evenly coating each one.
  5. Bake until cookies are set around the edges, but just slightly underbaked in the center, about 8 minutes. Remove and press a Hershey Kiss into the center of each one.
  6. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
