Creamy mushroom something is a hit in our residence. This pasta bake is no one-of-a-kind and whenever I make it, I understand there could be easy plates all round.


The splendor of this creamy mushroom pasta bake is that it’s the proper meatless meal specifically if you prep it in advance. Soften butter in a large pan then cook mushrooms until golden brown. add garlic and cream and mix well. add cornstarch combined with milk and permit to simmer until the sauce has thickened. upload sparkling lemon juice, chopped chives and season generously.

  • 2 tsp garlic crushed
  • 1 cup cream (heavy or whipping)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 6 cups mushrooms halved (approximately 500g)
  • 2-3 tbsp lemon juice (to taste)
  • ½ cup chives chopped
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp corn flour/corn starch
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese grated
  • 500 g pasta of your choice cooked (approximately 1lb)
  • 1 cup sour cream


  1. Pre-heat the oven to 180ºC/350ºF. 
  2. melt the butter in a large, oven-proof pan then prepare dinner the mushrooms till golden brown. add the garlic and fry for 30 seconds. 
  3. mix collectively the milk and corn flour/corn starch. 
  4. add the cream and milk mixture to the mushrooms and permit to cook dinner until thickened.
  5. upload lemon juice, chives and season to taste. 
  6. add the cooked pasta and stir properly then mix in the sour cream. top with grated mozzarella and location within the oven. 
  7. Bake until golden brown and crisp (about 20 minutes).
