Fig and Almond Butter Toast will take your toast game to an entire new level! entire grain bread crowned with creamy almond butter, cinnamon, sparkling figs, a drizzle of maple syrup and chopped almond for crunch. It’s a game changing breakfast or snack.

Fig season is just getting started and in case you’ve in no way tried a sparkling fig before, make this the 12 months you do! Figs have  seasons. One in early June, although I not often see figs on the stores here all through that season. the second season is August through October.

I’m positive I embarrassed my husband as I nearly ran to the small show of them at the store.   • 6 slices whole grain bread, I used a crusty artisan style bread
  • 6 tablespoons creamy almond butter
  • 3 fresh figs, sliced
  • 1/4 cup unsalted almonds, chopped
  • Ground cinnamon
  • Maple syrup for drizzling on top of the toast


  1. Toast the bread to favored doneness. unfold 1 tablespoon of almond butter onto each slice of bread. top with the sliced figs, a sprinkle of cinnamon, chopped almonds and a drizzle of maple syrup.
